YOUR WORK

How we handle your files

We want you to know what happens when you use this book-making service.

What you give us

Your account email, book titles, writing, recordings, files and the finishing options you choose are saved so you can return to your project. Your password is stored as a hash rather than as plain text.

What we do with it

We use those materials to process your book and prepare the downloads you request. If you ask for finishing help, we save your request and send a brief email alert to info@neatly.cloud so someone can follow up about a price. The alert does not include your manuscript or audio.

The guide is served on neatly.cloud; your book API and files are handled on our own private infrastructure through an encrypted connection. The existing transcription service processes recordings on our server. We have not set up card payment on this page, so please do not send payment details in notes or files. Book covers you make with the cover tools may be featured in our public cover examples gallery to show what Neatly can do. Only the cover image is ever shown — never your words, recordings or files. If you would rather a cover not be shown, email info@neatly.cloud and we will remove it.

Removal and questions

You can remove a project in the classic editor. If you need help with account data or removal beyond an individual project—including backup copies—email info@neatly.cloud. We have not published a fixed backup-retention schedule here, so please ask before uploading anything that requires a specific deletion deadline.

Please only upload material you have permission to use. For any questions about your files, contact us before you upload.

Back to my book

How we improve Neatly. We use first-party, anonymous usage notes to find places where people get stuck: which screen you are on, which buttons you tap, when something shows an error, and how long a screen is open. We do not collect your book text, your recordings, your email address, your name, or your microphone. From time to time a very short survey (one to five questions) may pop up; answering is always optional and you can skip it. No third-party advertising or tracking companies are involved.
